This song portrays belief and pride. *This is a violin solo version of my original composition, "The Soul," which was originally written for guitar. The guitar piece "The Soul" was created based on the emotions evoked by a photograph of a flamenco *bailaora* (dancer) and by reading Jiro Asada's novel *Mibu Gishi Den*.After composing that piece, I read *Issen no Mizuumi* (A Lake of a Single Line) by Hiromasa Togami; this reignited my desire to draw closer—even if only slightly—to the pinnacle of musical works that I have always aspired to: J.S. Bach’s *Chaconne* from the *Partita No. 2 for Solo Violin*. Consequently, I began working on a violin version of the piece. I am always deeply grateful to all the musicians, engineers, and supporters who have helped bring my music to life. It's a song that depicts passion, transience, and sadness. *My music isn't created to conform to any particular form. Nor is it composed to depict scenes or to match dances. I express the emotions of the people in the world I perceive from photographs and other images through my music. This song, too, is not in the form of Argentine tango, but it depicts one aspect of the world of tango as I see it. **A piano solo version of this song is also available on YouTube, so I would appreciate it if you would check it out.
